A portable generator can keep essential circuits running during a storm-related outage, but connecting one incorrectly creates a real safety risk to both your home and utility workers. Our electricians install a manual transfer switch so a portable unit connects to your panel safely.

Rural properties around Florence and Salado see longer outages during a bad storm than in-town homes, which is part of why a safe, code-compliant portable generator connection matters more out there than it might closer to Killeen.

Gerardo, thank you. Gerardo did a wonderful job, absolutely professional throughout. Couldn't recommend a better place for electrical services. They happened to be able to come out same-day and install same-day, couldn't believe it when they said that. Thanks again!Posted on Google![]()

Rey installed locking caps on my outdoor a/c unit to keep the refrigerant from leaking out into the air. Also put leveling blocks or vibration insulation pads between the slab and condenser unit to insure the unit was level and stable. He was patient and explained how my heat pump is working good and all looked good. He was friendly and knew how to answer what questions I asked.Posted on Google![]()

Well done.
No. Back-feeding power through a regular outlet is dangerous and against code. A transfer switch or inlet box is the safe way to connect a portable unit.
It depends on which circuits you want to keep running. We can walk through your options based on your panel and priorities.
